Hi everyone,

I've ventured into the world of rice writing and I'm needing some help. Is there anybody here who does it? I'm not having problems with the writing (I knew I wouldn't, I'm a ukrainian egg artist), what I'm having troubles with is the actual construction of the necklace. The stopper, the gluing, preventing air bubbles etc.

Help? I'm sort of flying by the seat of my pants and destroying all my supplies experimenting. Thanks for any help!

I've had some really good suggestions lately, one girl asked if I could make headbands, because of her really short hair (like Mia Farrow in Rosemary's Baby) and then someone suggested I make the headband's even more elaborate with dangly bits :) So I gave both a go and I thought I would share!

Ok, this is a ridiculous question, but I don't know. I have a fuckton, (yes, it's a measurement) of fabirc/material that needs to be washed. It's all folded nicely right now. Do I need to unfold it before I wash it?

I went to a Diorama-rama last night and I saw something awesome that I want to try out, but I don't know how it was done.  The box was fairly small and it was covered so I couldn't see what was going on inside, but basically you look into a little tube that was sticking out of the box (about the size of a pencil) and look in.  When you look in there was a scene and in back there was video of a squid playing.  It was really cool and I really want to make something like that.  Any idea how that was done???

My first scarf ever!
I just learned how to knit about 4 days ago and this is my first project
it took many attempts at getting the hang of it,
I think it is pretty good.

I love doing random crafts with my best friends when we just can't seem to find things to do during the week.

Here's one link I'd like to share with you:
http://www.backseatkiss.com/snowglobes.html
We made these snowglobes, which didn't turn out as wonderful as we thought, but it was still fun to make.
NOTE: WAIT overnight for the glue to dry. Use glitter VERY sparingly. haha

We also made pinatas from scratch.

What I was wondering, was if anyone had some crafty tutorials for things that would be fun to make with friends? We can't knit or crochet, but we can sew, and we're also not that patient, hahah
