I made these today! 3.25 x 3.25 inches, hand bound with 60 pages of mixed papers and screen printed covers! It's my second time silk screening and I am really pleased with the results!
After a long long break I finally got to make some earrings. I've been working on cleaning my work area and everything to make new stuff is hard to get to. I'm glad this spurred me to get cleaning and I am almost done now!
I've done this before, but it's been almost 2 years since I last did it so I'm looking for something to help me get refreshed in this (the place I learned how to do this at is now closed...) so I can capture a cameo...
Does anyone know of a good site that has the instructions for capturing a bead/button with other beads? I've looked at a couple, but they were really more complicated to follow than what I learned...
I am making my friend's necklace for her wedding along with all her bridesmaids. All together equalling just under 1000 Sworovski cyrstals. Does anyone know where to buy them in bulk for cheap(er). Also, this is my first time working with them (and crimping beads too.. I have the pliers, I've just never done it before) so if anyne has any advice or suggestions on this sort of stuff, I'd love to hear it. Thanks!
Has anyone ever used their print gocco on fabric? I have the special fabric ink and I'm wondering how well it prints and stays on the fabric with repeated washings. Is there a certain way to "seal" the ink, like ironing it?
With St. Valentine's Day coming soon, I have been busy making some cards for my close friends. Here are a few I have made. Truly, a labour of love. ( Love cards here ) I used my Cricut cutter to cut all the hearts, and the little elephant. I got the idea for the shaker card from a card design magazine. I really liked the idea, and the card came out ok.
I have a pretty cheap printer - since it's mostly for papers - but occasionally, I like to also print out little cards and things, and for the most part it's fine. But sometimes it does those little lines in the color - the first couple will be ok, but the first couple are usually done so I can get the positioning down right - then it comes to the actual prints, and I get lines.
I was wondering if anyone had tips on how to make this not happen? D:
