So, my new year's resolution this year is to complete 50 craft projects by the end of the year. Now, anyone who lives with me will know that I am terrible at finishing things. I have boxes and floors full of awesome things I started, then thought of some other awesome thing and moved on to that.

And finally, after almost 5 weeks of the year, I finished project #1, which is really pretty crap, but he was a learning project before I lept into the big one.

May I present, Mr Alien )

Also, finished project #2!
About a week or so ago, I went on a happy trip to Spotlight to buy a whole shitton of fabric for various projects. I came home with two bits of fabric, neither of which I actually needed. Fail!

I decided to make a mini quilt out of it.

Po Nee

Meet Po Nee. He has a huge appetite and is able to unhinge his jaw like a snake! It's fun to look at his tummy and try to guess what creature he has just eaten.

+ 2 new poilus!! )

Does anyone know if Michaels or acmoore sells citric acid? I'm having trouble with their website- my computer doesn't like it or something. If not, any ideas where I could buy citric acid?? Thanks!

hey ladies of the craft realm!

I recently joined a roller derby team and trying to think of some spiffy skate or roller derby related crafts.

The only craft I do well is crochet and I am planning on making some hot pink and black button up spats for my skates. Working on them now, will post when I finish!

but if anyone can help or has any good ideas that I can share with my fellow derby gals that would be great. Been trying to look for some other crochet patterns with the theme and couldn't locate any....

boo hoo

:3
thanks alot guys!

What do you do for a gentleman who has everything, when you want to express your ~*VALENTINE'S DAY DEVOTION*~ to him?

Do you remember when you were little those metal framed suncatchers that you put on tin foil and melted some little pellets into each opening in the oven to create a stained glass effect? What is this stuff called, and where can I get some?

All I can find is lousy plastic suncatchers that you paint. Thank you in advance all :)
