yea, in case you can't tell, i'm a nerd. i'm also a first time poster, long time watcher. we have a few billion of these cards in my house (UFS/Universal Fighting System, a TCG my friends and i play) and we were sorting out the relevant versus the irrelevant cards. they wanted to throw them away, but my heart protested. i settled on making a purse of the leftover cards instead. wanna see?
It's not amazing, but, hey.. for a spontaneous twenty minute project, it's alright!

hi guys, i've been lurking for forever and love this community, but don't have a camera anymore to make this post not simply text. sorry, i will get on that asap. anyway.
i would really like to make one of those crocheted blankets that are made out of grandma squares of many sizes/colors. i was looking in the memories and back to january i think of the posts, and i cant find any examples or what these things are called, but i remember seeing some posted. does anyone know what they are and where i can find a pattern?
thanks so much for your help!

i found her at the windowsill one day, and since she was so very pretty and seemingly full of such interesting things, i decided to let her inside. she seems content enough to peck through my small jars of shiny bauble things, but underneath i'm quite sure she's looking for something. and at night, i'm quite scared she might find it. between then and then though, i feed her bits of bread and pretend not to notice as my smallest shiny things go missing one by one.

So you may remember this post, unfortunately I've deleted the pictures from my photobucket since then, but I've posted the pictures again under the cut!

Also I seem to always post a whole bunch of pictures at once so this is pretty image heavy.

I am hoping some of you wonderful ladies can help me out!

I have an idea that I want to try out with some glass bottles, but involves drilling holes in them. I really have no idea what I can use to drill holes in glass!

Looking around Google, all the tools seem super expensive, and I am just wondering if a regular drill will work?

And just to share some of my other projects! )

Thanks in advance for any help!
