Anniversary Wreath

For my parents 22nd wedding anniversary I made them a wreath.
They went away for a secluded weekend once and Mum found a shell on the beach with a hole in it. I told her it meant good luck and Dad had always wanted me to paint him a beach landscape so combined both and came out with this.

They have it hung above their bedroom door so I'm happy :)
Best thing was I didn't have to buy a thing! I tore apart some old necklaces for the pearls lol...

Funky Faces...

I decided to try something a little more difficult. I attempted caning a face out of sculpey.

It's distorted and a bit odd, but you know, I made it with the sole purpose of cheering me up. Since it's a little bit like looking into the pathetic face of a sympathy doll, it does the job.

By the time I was done building her, the cane was as round as a grapefruit. I chopped some slices off as I shrank it down so I'd have several in different sizes. I stopped slicing before the cane was gone, so I've still got quite a bit left if I feel like making more.

But until then, these are the goods.
