My aunt just gave me a ton of scarves I found extremly pretty (She`s moving out of her house to a tiny apartment)

now I have no idea what to do with all those scarves. Do you guys have a DIY top idea or maybe bags? I googled and didn`t find much =/

felt lambs

they each take a few hours to make, i hand sew them. i used to hate felt thinking it was too easy because it doesn't fray, like it was only for sewing amateurs.. i really like making these little animals with it though. it is pretty cheap too, and a lot of it is made from recycled plastic bottles. i didn't use a blanket stitch because i didn't want them to look too folk artsy. so i just did a basic straight stitch leaving a little seam allowance. also used fabric glue for tacking the legs (so they don't spread out too much), the ears, and for making the bows. I made all of these felt lambs from free internet patterns.

I haven't painted anymore octopus charms but I did notice that lots of people asked where to get them. You can order them at http://www.fancifulsinc.com/. Now on to the new stuff..

More fun with seed/bugle beads. I wanted to make an octopus pendant but it ended up looking more like a jellyfish. Still nifty..

Okay, so I'm sure we've all seen the tutorials of using contact paper to make easy to do/remove wall art lately. If not, the intractable is here. I know threadbanger did a decor it yourself video on it as well.

I've been wanting to do this for months, but I'd either forget about it or couldn't find contact paper. I seriously had the biggest problem with it. Michael's finally had it, if anyone else is wondering.
