Good Morning craftster extraordinaires!
My name is Behtsee, I'm Twentyfour and I'm currently attending college for Fashion Design (LOVE it) but in my free time or for homework, I craft my little heart out!
Nothing tickles me more than creating personalized gifts for my nearest and dearest loves <3!
So anywho, here is my latest project that was my final project for my Textiles Class.
We had to make fabric (had to be non-woven, non-knit fabric) and then we had to create something out of the fabric we made. She gave us fabric options such as: Stitch bonding, felt or felted fabric, lace, embroidery, bonding or laminating, or tufting...
I chose a difference route!
So without further ado my dears, here is my project of Silk Fusion (MANY pictures behind the cut!):

What in the world is silk fusion you ask? Well come and find out! :) )

Happy Crafting Cupcakes!!!

Hi folks, I know this is more a place to show off craft work, but I need some advice on a sewing project I am about to start planning, and though people here might have good advice. It's kind of...an insane undertaking, so any help would be welcome. Here are my questions.

I've hand-sewn 2 teddy bears before, one about a foot tall and one 3 inches tall, but this is sort of different, so any advice would be welcome!!

So I actually made some stuff that I am incredibly proud of. Thank GOD for Regina Spektor for inspiring me because my creative juices have been boiling and I needed an outlet

If anyone understands every last little picture I added in to the paintings from that song, well, I will love them

I have SO many more songs I want to do, basically, I want a wall COVERED in these :)

The best part is this all cost me less than $20 :)

So I was cleaning/rearranging stuff in my room and I decided I needed to do something with this extra space between my two shelves on my wall. So I went to Michaels and bought some scrapbook paper and mod podge and put it on the wall, then on my nightstand.

camera phone pictures! )

What things have you guys done with scrapbook paper? I love the patterns of them and want to use them for more!
