I bought this fabulous puppet at an estate sale last year for $3 and did a photo shoot with him clear back in last September. He must have scared the bejeezus out of the poor kid who had him. I wonder if the nose was bit off in self-defense.

In order to avoid work I should do and to distract myself from thinking about the needles that will be stuck in my neck and spine tomorrow, I decided to go through those photos and upload them.

hey craftgrrls! can you recommend a plus size crocheting book? i'd like fairly trendy stuff. a friend check the happy hooker out at the library and i really like that stuff so i'm going to buy that. the sizes of their clothes only go to xxl. even if it's not beginner patterns i think if my friend and i work on stuff together i'll get the hang of reading instructions. i'm pretty new to crocheting anything other than a double stitch!

Also, I am working on an arts & crafts blog, and would like to know what you crafty ladies thought of it. I think sometimes my writing sounds a little dumb, but we are always our own worst critics, right?! I don't have much up yet, just 4 "classes" on painting and a short artist spotlight (lol) on Vargas. Pants into a skirt

I just recently got back into sewing in the last six months. I haven't sewn since I was a kid. Mostly I've made simple things, a tote bag, pillow covers, rice bags, etc. This was my most ambitious project to date (though hopefully not my last).

I bought a pair of pants about a year ago that fit me just awfully. (I have no idea what I was thinking because everything that could go wrong with them on my body does.) It was either throw them away or give them away. So I chose option number three, remake them. I made them into a skirt. It was my first attempt at clothing transformation, and I was not using a pattern. I don't love it, but I like it a great deal.

Print Gocco Ink help

hello!  sorry in advance for the text only post, but...  i'm using my print gocco B6 to make my wedding invites.  i'm mostly using the brown ink and it's pretty clear I'm going to need more ink.  so i ordered the ink on paper source's website, but now that i look closer, it's just the regular print gocco ink and not the high mesh ink for the b6.  has anyone had any experience with this?  am i ok, or do i really need to find the high mesh specific ink?
