... is hellaciously expensive.

I've seen other teachers put stuff on the boards that looks like rolls of whiteboard. Is it just plain old white contact paper? Special peel and stick whiteboard sheets are also crazy expensive and come in 8 by 11 sheets, which would take FOREVER to do!

Has anyone covered a large area with whiteboard? They sell paint, but that is also expensive.

What is my best option?

Hello...I have short hair and wear a lot of large earrings, mostly with the curved hook-type tops.  I want to make some sort of earring holder that's a bit more exciting than throwing them in a box or dish...I was thinking of finding some sort of mesh to hang them in maybe?  Something that lets them hang and be seen...Any ideas or examples?????   Thanks in advance!!!

Earlier today my mom and I went out and she spotted a shirt she really liked, but it was too much for either of us to afford. So instead of buying the top, we went to the craft section and bought 2 yards of fabric from the dollar bin. Then after we came home I made her an ADORABLE top! Here is the end result. The entire thing was made with no pattern and lots of luck. =3 I haven't sewn anything human sized in about 6 years!

OH MY LAWDY! A LINK! )

Hi all, sorry to spam with two posts in one day, but this time I have a question.

I got a half a yard of super amazing awesome-sauce dinosaur fabric at the store today, and after making my ball jointed doll a little blanket, i'll have a lot of fabric left over.

I am in LOVE with this fabric and I was wondering if anybody had ideas of interesting things I could do with the rest? I dont really have any books I could cover, and making something like a pillow seems like such a waste. I also dont want to make a stuffed dinosaur because I really just dont need one.

I'd love to come up with something that would allow me to keep the fabric close to me...I wish I had bought enough to make a tiny little throw-blanket for myself but I didnt.

Currently its draped over the top of my head just because.

Any ideas crafty-chics?
