I have been stuck home with a bum knee and have been in a real Halloween mood and signed up for several Halloween swaps at swap-bot and decided to get an early start on making a few things for the season. Below are pictures of some of my stuff.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if iron-on letters and such are baby safe. I have a friend who's pregnant and I wanted to decorate some onesies for her, but I'm not talented enough to stencil or silkscreen. I looked at the packages at Joann's, but saw nothing about non-toxic or anything. Also, if I go with the iron-ons, can they be washed on delicate instead of hand wash like the packages say?

Hey all you crafty girls!
I have a rather odd question and hopefully it is community related enough.

I go cosmetology school, and after my classmates and teachers found out my LOVE of Halloween and dressing up they have drafted me to do a ton of costumes on the girls.
I am asking for suggestions on what costumes to do. Since we have to wear black pants and a black smock at all times. They need to be mainly just hair and makeup...but with a little crafty help. I figured thing attached to head-bands, things involving rhinestones, feathers, flowers… all these things can be glued to a face.
I have come up with a few but I need a lot more.

-So far, I am going to create a large fake hairpiece and go as Marie Antoinette (complete with papier-mâché pirate ship)

- I am doing all the 4 seasons on 4 different girls. Fall- (leaves in the hair, crazy brown and gold eye makeup with rhinestones). Spring- (pink flowers in hair, fake eyelashes made of flower petals, ect.) and Summer and winter..You get the idea.
- 40’s pinup
- Devil
-Angel
-Punk rocker
- goth girl

I am stumped on what else I could possibly do…. If you have any ideas at all please POST!!!
Thank you so much

So my friend has pet peacocks and he gave me tons of feathers.

Anyone have any ideas for what to do with them?

Besides hairpieces and earrings..

Does anyone know how to make hair pieces with feathers?

I have no idea where to start.

Tutorials, tips, advice?

Thanks!!
