Does anyone have a tutorial or link to something that shows how to sew a blind stitch by hand (a seam on the inside of something sewn from the outside)?  I could google it, but I'm too lazy to sort through a bunch of advertisements.  TIA.

First time posting here, god help me.

I actually did these before the school year started. I needed notebooks, and I am one of those people that really, really hates plain school supplies. However, I am a penny pincher AND a poor art student, and I really had no desire to spend $3 on a notebook just because it was glittery. So while I was looking at the notebooks, I went, "Uh... fuck y'all, I'll decorate my own." So I grabbed some cheap Composition notebooks, went home, dug through my leftover art supplies, and took matters into my own hands...

Forewarning: While not distasteful, there be nude peoples beneath the cut. If you're bothered by this or are at a place where this could get you in trouble, don't click on the cut.

We're going to the Maryland Renaissance Festival tomorrow. This is our first year going with a baby in tow, and baby garb is hard to find.

So I made this. )

My name is Jen, and I'm from Ohio and this is my first post -- I just made this most excellent little pillow and I had to rush and find a community to share it with! :)

I was going to ask a special effects makeup community, but there aren't many members there. I thought someone here would know.

I have these little tubes of liquid latex from Halloween makeup kits. There are so many allergy warnings that I've never bothered using them.

Does anyone know if it's strictly an adhesive? I need to create the look of hanging skin, and I was wondering if liquid latex would harden into little usable latex-y strips if I spread it on a surface and left it to dry. Does it dry? Or does it just stay sticky?

I know I could open one and try it out, but I only have a couple and don't want to waste them.
