I love this time of year, the colors, the autumn leaves and pumpkins. Here are some new pendants, I especially love the maple leaf one . It turned out really well and looks really cool on. The wire wrapping was something I came up with on the fly and I think it looks great!

First of all, a gigantic THANK YOU to [livejournal.com profile] sassi214! She did a giveaway a week ago and I was lucky enough to win the box of fabric. Not ONLY did she put together this fantastic box of fabric and give it away...but made it look like a lovely present, complete with a card! Thank you so much Donna, you made my day!

Seriously, who wouldn't want to open a box to find this? )

And now for something not really all that different...

About a year ago I decided to make a quilt, bought all the fabrics, started the quilt, then slowly stopped making it, always intending to take it up again and finish it.  Well, now that I've taken it back up I have run out of one of the fabrics I've been using and I cannot find it anywhere.  I've looked on countless fabric websites, I've visited my local joanns (the only fabric store we have around here), I've looked on ebay and i've come out empty handed.

The fabric is purple Quilter's only "Tradewinds" Collection.  The background is purple and the pattern is a lighter purple.  I've included some pics of it.  If any of you out there have this fabric and can part with it please, please, please email me at Amandaplaysguitar@gmail.com.    I will be forever grateful!

So my girlfriend and I finally got out latest project finished. Just in time to start decorating for Halloween, I might add. These little fellas are all made out of clay pots in varying sizes. It took us four days to make them. We had to tweek the pattern as the instructions weren't really clear. But we did get them done. pictures behind cut )
The Dracula's hair is made out of paper clay. So are his ears, the bats' wings and ears. We sure had fun making these guys, but they were so much work, we decided that we will not be doing any more.
