I'm having a little trouble threading the bottom part of my new sewing machine. It's a Brother Project Runway Limited Edition [CE-5000PRW]. If any of you have this sewing machine or can just tell me how to thread the bottom part, that'd be amazing.

Can anyone recommend a decent set of fabric markers?

Requirements:
- a good array of colors (like, a few shades of each basic color)
- permanent
- work well on canvas tote bags
- aren't really hard to use (don't know why they would be, but just in case!)
- reasonably priced

I looked online and saw some that bubble up or something when the fabric is heated--I don't particularly want that. I'm more looking for the effect of drawing on fabric with a Sharpie, but without the running/glow that happens and without terribly wearing out the marker.

What are your experiences and recommendations? Thanks in advance!

I went to the craft store last night and went CRAZY. Here is a necklace I made that I'm really excited about:

plus: what do you all think of this piece? )

Hi All! Here are a few new things I made in the past day or so!

Bracelet made of a small piece of chain that I can either cut down to make it fit or add a larger piece if needed.

I'm hoping some of you crafty girls can help me out.(:

A few years ago, I frosted my bedroom window with Gallery Glass Crystal Clear. I didn't do it very well and was never very happy with the result, but I've only just now decided to remove it. The thing is, I'm not entirely sure how to go about doing it. I brushed the stuff on, so it's a pretty thin layer and I can't just peel it off. I'm assuming I'm going to have to scrape it off, but I don't want to scratch the glass. Does anyone know what I can use that won't damage the window itself too much? Or even better--if there's an easier way that doesn't involve scraping?

Much appreciated.(:

Hey, everyone. I'm just curious. If someone created a community specifically for kid crafts (for kids, by kids), would you join?

Because... I made one.

Sorry, mods, if this isn't allowed. I just wanted to get it out there.
