Usually I only use plastic but I've started mixing in some silver and metal charms here and there. Here are some new items:

I'm getting ready to make some bottle cap jewelry, necklaces and bracelets but I know it has been done so many times. I've been thinking up different ways to use them within a necklace but what can I do with the bracelets to make them unique. Any one have some ideas?

this might seem like a weird question...

for a 3D design class, i am making a long dress out of flat marbles (like marble magnets) with pictures from magazines in them. the idea/statement is that the entertainment industry/celebrities/etc in the media have way too much influence on the way we dress and carry ourselves and contribute to a general lack of self-expression in fashion. the dress doesn't need to be wearable, just a life-size dress shaped sculptural piece.

my question is what material should i use as the base shape to glue the marbles onto? i think any kind of fabric will be too flimsy. some sort of screen? ugh i'm at a loss, any ideas?

Hey everyone!

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could buy (online or a Canadian retailer...I'm limited to Fabricland and Michael's in the craft area) the closures for coin purses. When I say coin purses's closure I mean the ones where you squeeze on the sides and it opens like a mouth, rather than the ones with the metal lips and the beads that snap for you. I just don't know what they're called.

In asking that, anyone ever made a dog training treat pouch before in that manner? Or does anyone know of any patterns online that show you how to make a dog training pouch? I hate having to fish for treats in my pocket from a plastic baggie.

And here's who the treat pouch is for Ginger! )

Hi, I just got a new puppy. (points to icon). Sasha is a 12 week old Miniature Schnauzer. Since it's so cold out, when I take her outside or in the car with me, I've had to put sweaters on her. I never thought I'd be posting puppy sweaters, but here are a couple that I've made.

I bought this adorable fabric to make a pair of PJ pants for my hubster.  I am going to have a yard and a half, maybe 2 yards leftover (plus cutting scraps).  I am trying to think of something cool to do with the rest of it.  Any ideas?  I am blanking.
