Hokay..so- my boyfriend stays over with me twice a week, and he only really has one blanket for here and at home. Because of that, he tends to forget it a lot and so I end up sharing one of the layers of my quilted cocoon with him so he can be warm.

Here are two more earrings I made but I think they might be missing that...wow factor.

What do you think? )

Hello everyone! I have been busy like crazy making jewelry (note to self: less time creating, more time job hunting!) and on Friday I sat down and managed to take some amazing photographs of my jewelry! I am very excited to share!

Jewelry here! )

For some reason I can't get any images to work today, but I want to share somehow so I'm going to try this one more time. I was inspired by all of the posts of newly re-done or neat and clean craft areas so I decided to turn some of our unused space in the living room into a craft area. The room itself is split by a walkway between two doors, so fitting furniture in it is tough. We split the room into living room and "other." Today, I took over the "other" space.

First, I convinced my husband that we needed an adventure. I drove him to AC MOORE to get a bookshelf that I had been looking at, but when it was revealed as being labeled with the wrong price (and they were unwilling to go with what it was marked as...) we went to Staples to see what they had. There, we were able to not only get me a bookshelf, but also get a folding table for the same price as AC MOORE's original bookshelf. We brought everything home and then I got to organizing and cleaning etc.

I think I fixed it! Here is where you laugh if it is still a broken picture

When I originally posted this, I had this great picture narrative set up as a "tutorial." For some reason though, my images just weren't working. I have no idea what I did wrong, because some would work while others would not, and I consistently repeated the same steps for each image. O well... It just became very anticlimactic.

If it STILL isn't showing the image... here's a link to the album.

Can anyone give me any tips on how to cover a folding chair, or hang fabric under the table to hide the metal legs?

Please to be giving me any ideas of how to make an old warped wood coffee table not so unsightly!
(I am thinking decoupage.. but need inspiration!)
