A few days ago, I posted pic of a box I made using torn scraps from a Harry Potter book. (here)

Now... Can I sell something like that? Or does that violate copyright laws or anything? Basically, will I get in trouble for doing something like that?

I'm attempting to make a rather large dragon marionette. you know, one of those big puppets that you can make walk beside you, bobbing its head. Like this guy but way cooler. Anyway, I'm starting from scratch, so I'm drafting the pattern right now, but I'm stuck.

Problem: his legs. They need to attach on the side of his body but the feet should be flat on the floor. Can I do that with two pieces? Or should I make the feet separately and then attach them to the legs? Anyone who makes plushies or dolls have an idea for how to do this?

Here's a journal page I did last night. As I'm working on a book I'm writing, I'm kind of using my journal as scrap paper to test things on. Makes for kind of a crazy background. Sometimes I'll paint over it to tie it all together, but this time I just left it, and added to it, because it went with the way I've been feeling lately.

Heya guys. I'm currently trying to do a project where my pieces will eventually go into a gallery shop hopefully. With university I have a great oppurtunity. My problem is I want to try to make felt balls for some parts of my work, and well I've done flat felt before but never actually done felt in balls (sphere shapes). Anyway I wondered if any of you guys knew of a website that showed how to do these well ? I've tried a few, but the only decent ones I can find so far seem to have instructions that are impossible to read (i'm dyslexic- instructions not a strong point). Thankyou for reading, I'm just completely puzzled and thought you guys would be the best to ask xxxx

I'm trying to find somewhere online that sells shadow boxes wholesale for a small amount of $$.  Just the run of the mill kind you can find at Hobby Lobby (but not $5 each like they are there).  I've looked on Ebay and tried Google, but I dunno really where to start with doing research on this sort of thing.
I want to make them to sell, so I am trying to get them for as cheap as possible.

I just found out that one of my old high school friends is having a baby girl so I made her a baby quilt. )
