Hello Crafty Peeps,

I'm not sure what to do or who to turn to, so I'm hoping someone on here can help me out.

I ordered a mini sampler from http://www.homeofthesampler.com/index.html on February 20th.
I still haven't received it.
In fact, I haven't even received an email from them since the email thanking me for my order.
They did, however, get my money, according to both paypal and the withdrawal on my bank account.

I've emailed subscriptions@homeofthesampler.com three times, asking what was up.
No responce.
So what should I do?

*sigh* I'm really disappointed in their lack of customer service. They've completely ignored me for over a month.

Suggestions? Ideas?

Also, so it's not text and helpmeoutplz only, I made a purty pincushion for a swap. Pic behind zee cut:

I used this little number

to finish the bottom edge of sparkle organza petals today! A princess dress, with twirly ballgown skirt and large organza petals laid overtop. And I wasn't going to try a rolled hem on a curved organza edge, oh no. Not with the deadlines I'm working under (don't ask!).

The heat gun was fantastic! Heats up within a matter of a couple of seconds, blows nice hot air in a controlled stream (about the diameter of a quarter or fifty-cent-piece), and just sealed the edges from about 15 inches away. I laid the organza on a towel on the ironing board for the operation.

I was able to create a scalloped effect by bringing the heat gun in closer every four inches or so along the hem.

Hooray! Organza, hemmed in ten minutes!

There was a recent sell on cake mixes and frosting at Safeway, something like buy 3 get 3 free. So every other week my husband and I have been making cupcakes and minicakes.

Our most recent cakes were a set of 3 carrot cakes decorated with green cream cheese frosting to look like hills. They were going to be covered with jelly beans as easter eggs but as an after thought I liked them better as a hobbit hole.

mini cakes, cupcakes and clay cakes... )
