This is a bag that I made for my cousin's baby shower. I gave her the bag, the two bunnies (named Humphrey and Henrietta Hare) along with a copy of the velveteen rabbit book.

so yesterday i got bored and i decorated a pair of brown leather boots i had bought from the thrift store a couple months ago.

i painted them with diluted screenprinting paint and put the newspaper on using a couple of layers of diluted elmers glue... its all pretty steady, the paint wont chip or wear(its really nice), but the news paper might.. So I really need to coat them in something that will ensure i can actually wear them outside...it would be awesome if it were waterproof too. I checked the memories/faq but I couldnt really find anything (maybe im dumb) help?

If anyone has any tips on how to put in zippers that the process is not a gigantic pain the butt, it would be appreciated.

Hi, I'm new here. These are some things that have been hanging around in my studio.

Grant it, they aren't oak leaves, but I had this chapter from A Life in the Woods (better known as Bambi) in mind when I made it. It's been sitting around since autumn of last year but I've only gotten around to photographing it, now. Oops.
