Has anyone ever tried this?

I would just cut off the seemed edge and cut along the fold to create 2 sheets of plastic to run through an inkjet printer.

I am just wondering if anyone has tried this and what the results were.

Thanks,
Sara

I have a teething puppy right now, and I've managed to save two of her baby canines. I was thinking about using them to make matching pendants for me and my boyfriend. Does anyone have any advice on what (if anything) I need to do to preserve them? Also, if anyone has ideas on jewelry... the teeth are pretty tiny, about 1/4 of an inch long.

So I'm planning on building/modifying a table for a train set for my 2.5 year old son. We want to get him a Thomas the Tank Engine set (he looooooves trains), and I have a coffee table that I'll be adding on to. I plan on putting hinges on it and adding two extra "wings" (what IS the technical term for those) so that it's semi-portable for when we move again. I want to be able to "stick" the pieces (buildings, track, etc) to the table, so he won't be able to remove them, but I also want them semi-removable so that we can fold up the table to move it. I was thinking heavy-duty velcro, sturdy enough to keep his little prying fingers from tearing it apart, but removable enough that I can take it apart when needed. Anyone have anything better?

oh, I've been busy trying to finish things up for my move into my first real apartment. for some reason I got the bug to make some handkerchiefs after finishing up embroidering a pillowcase.

It's been raining all day and due to muscle ache, I've been incredibly gloomy the whole day. The weather wasn't helping of course.

But I cheered right up when inspiration hit. Don't you love it when that happens?
These are probably the silliest idea ever for earrings, I don't know if anybody has ever done them before but..

Rain clouds and Rain drops earrings!

Hilarious isn't it? It made my day, they did.

It’s amazing how much having a creative outlet can improve a mood. I made some hairbows and flowers last night.

I made this for the girl that lives down the street from me. it clips in with a regular hairclip.
