I've been looking around online a lot on my own and was wondering if anyone here has any recommendations for places to purchase recycled sari silk yarn. Either website or a preferred ebay seller. I've found a few sites that sell but really just wanted another opinion on who is easier to work with. thanks!

I am trying to class-up my jewelry and was thinking of those fancy triangle-shaped clasps that go where a jump ring would (attaching necklace cord to pendant or charm). What are these called?

And any other suggestions for replacing jump rings with something fancier looking?

Then I can use the hoardes of jump rings I have to make some chainmaille, lol. No pics, I won't have any to share until October when I can relax. :)

I made an apron yesterday just for fun. Then I asked Husband to model it for me.

Anyone want to spam me with their favourite suppliers for jewellery findings and charms? Thanks a million!

hey! i'm pretty new to embroidery, i've been dabbling in it on and off for the past few months. most of the time i don't know what to do with my embroidery once i've finished.

now that i'm actually getting a little better i'd like to start displaying some of my embroidery. i really like the look of leaving them in the hoops.

i've been googling a little, but it just hasn't been working for me tonight, but how exactly do i go about finishing this off? what do i do to the back?

i assume i'd fold the excess fabric back and stick it down in some way (sewing? glue?) and then trim so theres not to much excess back there. do i put another bit of fabric over the top then so the back is hidden?

if anyone knows of a good tutorial please point me in that direction.

and just so this isn't all boring and text only heres a picture of some redwork i have been working on.

i actually finished it just a little while ago, but i was going to wait til tomorrow when i have better light to take a photo. i plan on making this one into a cushion cover for my couch. i downloaded the pattern from .
