Hi hi~

Back to share more of my works!

I wrapped a number of pendants to give friends and family for Christmas. I am slowly trickle them online to share with others now that the recipients have had a chance to open and see the gifts in person.

The first 2 this way! )

Cheers for the holidays! ^__^

I made a tree skirt and matching t.v. cover for our basement bar. :)

I made a cat for a friend, as a memory of a recently departed pet.

I used alpaca fibre, and this took a few weeks as it was a bit more work that merino (the blue and pink bits used were merino, however).

So having seen Avatar, and then looking in my craft box and seeing the AMAZING amount of blue yarn I have, I want to do an Avatar themed project. I have yarn that looks like all the florescent beauties you see in the movie, and can't wait to use it.

I'm not a super experienced crocheter, but I can hold my own. Super, super beginner when it comes to knitting. I can sew pretty well, too.

Any ideas appreciated :)

Hahahaa...
Well, it's been a while since I posted anything at all here, and I apologize. I hope you've all been having lovely, crafty holidays. :)

I am warning you, though, this is going to be a tad image-heavy. Hope you enjoy. :)

Wall-E and Eve!
Wall-E has a magnet in his left hand and Eve has a magnet in her right hand. Eve has a recording of them saying each others names when you squeeze her.

Super Mario Mushrooms, Chun-Li from Street Fighter, Hello Kitty, Left 4 Dead characters, Alice in Wonderland characters! )

This year I tried, once again, to make some gifts for my family. These crafty christmases haven''t always gone over well in the past. My family somehow isn't one who understands the heart that a crafter puts into each stitch. To them I am just plain "weird". Do other people who LOVE making things for other people have this problem too? Or is it just my crazy family?

Anyway, this year I am broke broke broke and I couldn't afford to go home so I challenged myself to craft with only things I already owned (I didn't even buy wrapping paper!) and sent things home in the mail.

After Christmas I was surprised to get a phone call from my mother gushing about the gift I made for her! Actual genuine appreciation! She is HAPPY with what I made her and wants to show her friends and is encouraging me to write the pattern for it out so it doesn't get forgotten!
WEEE!

Would you like to see the gift that finally thrilled her?

Warning: Pics might be a bit on the large side. Hopefully, not TOO large.

Too bad she says it is too nice to actually USE. Sigh.
