I've just finished an vintage-inspired American-Cabaret bellydance bedlah. A friend and fellow dancer here in Tokyo commissioned me for it.

The last quilt I finished in 2009, this one was completed on December 30, and was a late Christmas present for my oldest son, nineteen and about to move into his first bachelor pad. I called it "He's a Man Now"

So I've been going a little crazy recently, and ended up making an entire line of silver stuff with the <3 symbol, hehe. It's the only form a heart that I will wear...

I found these amazing "how to" make clothes from YouTube user GiannyL. I think this one is worth trying.

I always like to re-use and recycle jars. So when recently I bought some special glass colors I knew I can make my jars more organized and nice. I have lots of spices at home so that's very helpful. Here is how it turned out.

In this picture I have painted 2 jars. One of them is a 2 kg jar I had bought together with Polish pickes, now I make my own pickles. See recipe : Homemade romanian pickles .

Hi All! I've been reading and commenting for awhile, and thought it was time to share something of my own..

I promised Mom a purse back in the fall, and I'm finally done! I made two, and I'm pretty proud of them, actually, as I tried a few new techniques, and my skills are improving. They're my own designs--I spend a few days drawing out my ideas, thinking through the construction techniques I'm going to use, and measuring purses I like. Then I draw my pieces out on tracing paper, double check the size, and go from there.

I welcome constructive criticism :-D
