Plastic Film canisters

Being the avid photography film lover, I definitely have too much empty plastic canister. And with the environment going kaput this very moment as we speak. It is good to send them to the recycling bin. But yesterday I decided to do a little more by prettying it up a little and give it to someone as a gift.

Baby Nursery ideas :)

Hi crafters,

I am very new to the craft scene, but LOVE it! I'm pregnant with a baby boy due in April, and I am starting to put his nursery together ( which is my room also, since I dont have an extra bedroom). I don't have too much money to spend, so my dad offered to paint for me ( because he is amazing!) and I've decided to do an accent wall in an argyle pattern. I have a light teal color and chocolate brown to use. ( I will also probably paint the door frames/window frames to match plus my comforter is now brown/cream and I have brown curtains :) )

Any ideas what to do with the cribset? I figured I would need something solid, since the argyle pattern will be there, and I don't want it to clash. I can't find ANYTHING in solid brown/cream for him. Maybe its just the hormones, but I am getting so upset I will never figure out something to do. Please help!

Earring dilemma

I was given three lovely pairs of earrings,  but unfortunately I don't have my ears pierced.   However, I'm determined to get some use out of them!  Is there anything I can do with them (other than removing the hook, adding a jump ring, and making it a necklace pendant)?
