I had this magnet with a quote to which I did not agree too much. So I decided to give it a new life, more flowery :). Here is the result:

Hi everyone!

I'm thinking about adding some of my photography to etsy, but with there being soooo many other talented photographers on them offering their amazing prints, I have a couple questions...

1. What is a good price ratio to go by per print size?
I've never sold print before and have access to a very low priced overhead so I can afford to be a little cheaper then others. Also, not to take away from my work, but - I'm no where near as experienced with photography as some others and definitely need more practice so I was thinking I should price accordingly.

2. What is your favorite size print to normally buy?
I'm willing to have different sizes for certain images, but I tend to see 8x10's and 4x6's a lot and wonder if I go larger if it will pay off.

3. Color or black and white? I know some images will look better in BW or in color but does one tend to sell better then the other?

I have a lot of nature photos including wildlife, insects (see icon), floral, and some architecture shots. I really want to sell prints but definitely need some feedback. Also, should I offer matting? I have a nice big mat cutter that I can benefit from, but not sure if people prefer just the print or would want the mat to go with it.

Thanks for the help!!! I will be sharing some other crafts I have been doing soon. Once I get the pics loaded to my comp :)

Has anyone here made any Psyanky in the past? I have seen some gorgeous ones in the past but most of the ready-made designs I have seen are for more traditional designs.  I want to try some more modern ones, but I am not sure how to find those designs!

Any suggestions?
Thanks :D

Hey guys, I just thought some of you might be interested in the new community I made, [livejournal.com profile] art_classes. It's basically a place where people can post art "assignments" or prompts to get your creative juices stirring. You can also post your finished works for a "critique." Basically a virtual art class!

Hello! With Valentine's day getting closer, I'm in big need of help. My sort-of-boyfriend is always joking about the panda bear that I've had for a long time and still sleep with. He'll call me and ask how panda bear is doing, he'll ask me to tell panda bear that he misses him, and when he sleeps over, he always steals him in the middle of night and cuddles with him until morning (I have photographic proof!). I thought since he loves my panda bear so much, I'd sew him one of his own as a bit of a joke so that he can sleep with one too. The only thing is that I'm having a hard time finding a pattern. I've searched dozens upon dozens of websites, going from to the other to other and I have yet to find a good one. I've looked at tags and memories and links and a whole ton of stuff with no luck. I've even tried to find a good regular bear pattern and just make it a panda bear but they're all old and traditional looking and totally not what I want. Does anyone have a really great bear sewing pattern that they wouldn't mind sharing? I'd appreciate the heck of it it :) Thanks a lot!
Annnnd here is a picture of my panda bear for reference. I'd like for it to look kind of like him or at least the same idea with the arms and legs and head connected to the body versus all seperate pieces. I thought about trying to figure out how mine is sewn together but I'm not that handy yet.

I made a mold out of an unpainted matryoshka, filled it with plaster and hand painted these. I love how they turned out!
