Hello fellow Crafty Ladies! Lately I've been getting into cross stitching. I've made a couple things so far, mostly gift for others :
This was for my boyfriend for our 3 year anniversary :

And this is the pattern for what I'm currently working on, for a friend's birthday
My progress as of yesterday night...
... I still have a ways to go!

That's about it! I'm glad to have found a community for people who enjoy crafting as much as I do :)

Allright.... i'm wanting to get a bit more crafty.
My next step is using glue guns. I know how to use them, we use industrial ones at work, but obviously craft ones are a bit different.
The things I will be making will in essence be smaller, like hair clips/ fascinators/ BROOCHES etc.... So I need to know...
Must I get "low" or "super low" temperature?
Are there ones with smaller nozzles?
Certain brands must be better than others right?
Will I be able to bond fabric onto metal? Felt onto metal?
Is there anything in particular I should avoid?
Tell me what type I should be looking at please please please, and you will get my ULTIMATE RESPECT!!!!
BONUS POINTS if the recommended brand and glue sticks are available in AUSTRALIA

Hello, first time poster here!
Two and a half years ago, my friends had their first son. Both parents are martial artists, and all my friends love swordfighting, so I thought "The baby needs a weapon!" and made him a little plush sword (Which I can't find a photo of right now).
I've had a bunch of requests from friends for other plush weapons so I whipped these up the other day:

My first post. I hope I get this right!!
My husband and I have started making music/guitar/bass pedals. He has always been a whiz at musical equipment and has always ended up fixing his band members and everyone elses equipment. Since he started an electrical engineering program he has been making actual equipment. So many pedals and such are so boring and ugly!! So we have been making pedals for friends and such for fun!! I do the artwork and such. This is our lastest!!

This is one of the pictures from my first post about it.
And I just went through and added links, so if you're so inclined, you can see the mural in progress, up until this last weekend. Here's one of the early photos from this weekend, and a detail of one of the houses.
You're welcome to stop by and take a look!
