Altoids tins?
Mar. 8th, 2011 01:11 pmHello folks,
As you may know, Altoids candies come in these lovely little tins. It seems a shame to waste them, but i'm at a loss for things to make out of them. I have seen some adorable miniature gardens planted in them, but what else can i do with them? Thoughts?
Thank you.

Edited to add image. Mostly i'm dealing with the "standard" tin, the rectangle. It's about the size of a cigarette pack.

I'm working on a set of four Lenten banners to hang along the sides of the sanctuary at my church.

wire crochet hairpin

Lots of internet & power problems going on here. Leaves time for making things, but makes it impossible to post them. This is just a quick project to give my hands a break from the sweater I am working on. It's made with 28 gauge wire and my hook doesn't have a size. (hmm.)
It was really simple, I essentially just crocheted one round of a circle and then used the tails to attach the pearl and bobbie pin.
