i am so excited!!  but so i don't bore you, i'll give you guys the tl;dr version:

lost my favorite pair of barefoot sandals in our move.  the woman i bought them from on ebay has an empty store.  i spent days looking for something similar & came up with nothing.  i finally resorted to looking for tutorials.  found one that's pretty similar to the pair i had (yay!!) & as it turns out they weren't hard to make. (tutorial here if you're interested, tho i did change a few things)

i LOVE the way they turned out!! (modeled on my neighbor's feet because i have funky feets)
toes this way! )

I was wondering if I were to bake something made from polymer clay and then add something onto and rebake...would it stay connected to said prebaked piece or not?

My husband recently bought a Kindle and is looking for a case now. He has seen a few to buy, but they seem quite expensive.  My main crafts are knitting, papercraft and clay/sugar modelling. I can sew, but I'm no where near an expert. I have access to a sewing machine, but I've never really used one.

He has suggested making a case from an altered hardback notebook, or his old leather jacket.  I had thought of knitting and felting one... Any suggestions or links to patterns?
