i want to get these really pretty purple mugs that i saw at salvation army but i want to personalize them by painting my friends names on them. what kind of paint is pretty tough and will stand up to being washed (not in a dishwasher but hand washed many times)?
thanks :)

i also wanted to ask another question but i might as well put it in the same post. i saw these jack skellington hair sticks the other day in hot topic and i thought hmm i could probably make those. however i've never used sculpey or fimo or any clay at all. do you have to bake it in the oven? i was thinking that to make the same hair sticks i could get chopsticks, paint them black with nailpolish or acrylic, and sculpt the little jack head out of clay to go on the top of each one. would this work or does it sound like it will fall apart on the first use?
