[identity profile] bronhoffer.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] craftgrrl
not only did i have to type all of this again, since the internet hates me and wants to delete everything that i just typed, but i accidently just posted it in my own journal... let's get it right this time!

so anyways, i am now the proud owner of a pasta machine! (for those of you who aren't aware, them things are mighty useful in getting nice, flat, even sheets of polymer clay.) finally, i have a job, so i have a means to pay for it, and my job also sells the things! (i work at bed bath & beyond, i just went to a new, larger store and was finally able to buy one!) maybe this will give me the motivation to get cracking on making some super-awesome polymer clay stuff (and maybe even post in that [livejournal.com profile] claymaker community that i set up...)

i also got a really awesome origami book (you can make origami nail clippers and an origami swiss army knife!!) and a really cool beading book (it tells you how to make a mini-picnic set, complete with basket, cloth, wine bottle, and loaf of bread!!) at a new barnes & noble. if you wish to know the titles, just comment and i'll tell you. too lazy to do that now...

well, maybe not too recently, i haven't really bothered to post in a while...

#1 - cd-player cd case

for more pictures, go here.

basically, for this thing, i took my old cd player, laden with beautiful stickers, which had tragically broken, and a cd case that my buddy kyle provided me with, tore them both apart, then glued them together. the plastic-hardness of the cd player gives the cds added protection too.

#2 'hot stuff' polo

detail

the pattern for this i got from a $2 kit at michael's. used 12 ct. waste fabric to cross-stitch it onto the polo. turned out super-well, though it might look a little better if i had smaller waste fabric (that was just what happened to be around the house, and i didn't feel like going out to get more). normally, i would never wear a shirt like this, but since i made it, and i find it amusing, i'll make an exception.

sadly, that's all i have for now... because of school, cross country, and work, i've had little time to do anything. i rarely update my poorly designed website, and i also need to find and reinstall the software ot upload the my digital camera pictures on my comptuer.
if only i had more time....
