Nintendo tote bag

craftgrrlA few weeks ago I found an amazing Nintendo duvet cover in a local charity shop for only £1.75. I couldn't believe my luck! My first project was this tote bag, for a gaming-obsessed friend who's leaving these shores for good next month to go home to California :o(

Pink lining with pocket.
It's roughly 13" wide and 14" tall. All hand-sewn. The straps are made from an old Radiohead t-shirt. I try not to buy new fabric where possible, and use clothes from charity shops and my wardrobe instead.
The best thing is, there's still loads of the duvet cover left! *scratches chin thoughtfully*
