Hi girls!
A crafty dilemma is going on here and I count on your good suggestions: I've these wood beads and I'd like to make a necklace. I made few tries but I think it's missing something, I just can't put m hand on it.. mmm. These are the first attempts:

I tried to ask google and these are the images that caught my attention: inspiration 1..

Spring Sign 002

I found this idea on a blog link party and loved everything about it.

As you can see, I had a bit of a problem keeping the twigs curved for the S, so I ended up enforcing the bottom curved twig with wire, then wrapping with jute.

To bend your twigs, first choose new growth, very gently bend them and submerse them, coiled, in the bottom of a glass of water or a jar for about a day. Take them out and then wrap them around a paper towel or toilet paper roll and tape them into place. Let them dry for at least two days.

Assemble the twigs using jute or twine, gluing the loose end with hot glue.

Anyone else on here love ana white's stuff? Have you built any of it?

I swear any time I can't sleep I sift through her plan catalog and dream.

So far all I've built is two of these beds which were fairly easy for someone with a very limited knowledge of woodworking.

(no pics 'cause my camera died a horrible death)

My husband and I set out to make a hanging wall for our loft. But we wanted it to look finished and industrial, so we deiced to grommet it! Crazy right?! It turned out great, and I thought I would pass along the tip for those who might want to try something of the like later on down the road. You can see the results by clicking on the photo below!

Check out our entryway project here!

My apologies for those who say this posted to Saucydwellings, but I felt it a great tip for the craft community at large!
