I decided to go through my computer today, and besides the rainbow raggedy, I found the ladybug!

My 3 yr old at the time was very into ladybugs, and each of my children got a raggedy for christmas, him being one of them. The others got the rainbow, princess and Frodo inspired raggedies, lol.

Me stick with tradition? Well maybe in a roundabout way, heh.

i am making this blankie dolly.... i made the head the other day... and it's just sitting on the desk... hehe. i think it's much too large though... i really wasn't thinking when i made it. i think i'm gonna make that one into another doll and make a smaller doll for the baby.

anyone have websites or books about making journals/notebooks?

also, recycled paper companies that you like a lot? ( or even very simple paper-making instructions?)

thanks!

Does anyone know where you can get those clasps that are found on coin-purses and vintage handbags?

I'd be willing to pay or trade for a kitty hat. My sister's nickname is kitten and she has cat everything. She would love it so much. I could never knit because of the disease I have.
So if anyone is willing please contact me!

I had planned to make my sister a frog necklace for our birthday (last week) but since I wanted to do it in a chainmail design and I was just in too much pain to finish it... I came up with this instead. It is hard to tell from the pics but it is a choker, just scanning it gets better pics than my digital cam, so...

Anyone have any good learning to knit/crochet sites? I need pretty much the moron's guide to both, because for some reason this stuff is NOT coming to me.

hey!

here's a stellar idea i've been saving forever. if anyone does this, post a pic! this is from a list from years ago..cant even remember now-but the poster was betty maple. thank you betty maple!

bathmats crocheted out of old grocery plastic bags:

"It's fairly simple. Cut your bags into strips about an inch or half inch wide, spiral cutting the bag to get as long a strip possible. Wind into balls loosely either matching colors or mixing them up as you prefer.Use alarge plastic crochet hook (used for rug and very bulky yarns) andc rochet them into your mat. If you don't crochet, any basic book will give you the basics, making a flat round rug is one the the easiest projects even for abeginner. The biggest trick is not to make your stitches tight and keep checking for flatness as you go. My grandma used to churn out these babies by the carload, using the old wonder bread bags, white with the multicolored ballons on them, I always thought they looked kinda cool. I love the picture idea! Mine is on the way."
