i'm planning on sewing something up for my friend..who happens to be a guy. there's no special occasion--just a random gift. i want to make something unique, but practical. does anyone have any ideas on what to make? any fabric suggestions?

Did I spell that right? probably not...

Is there a difference between mod podge and generic brand decopauge? I'm considering making a journal and I need to know, so I dont mess it up.

thanks in advance.

Hey I'm new here :) I've been watching this community for a while and decided to join. I'm not the most craftiest person, but the latest project I'm working on is a hobo bag, made out of a pair of jeans. When I finish it I'll be sure to post pictures.

finally!!

Hey everyone! I want to put little tags on my products so I went out and bought a package of 2" x 3" tags from Office Depot but I need help with finding a way to ink them up! Any home-made stamping ideas?

Check out my website: American Jewel Designs!!!

In the beginning of the summer i got really into making hemp necklaces. I always thought the material had a really nice, earthy look, but so much of hemp jewelry is boring! I've been playing around with hemp, trying to make my necklaces have more of a fine jewelry type of look instead of the generic straight-stitch-with-fimo-bead-in-center that you get down the shore.

Unfortunately a lot of my more intricate necklaces have already been sold to people around school here, but i was able to take pictures of a few that i still have.

I know I have been posting alot of questions lately....

but, (heh)

can you decopauge tin? I got a AOL cd case and I want to make it a holder for a letter.

I'm using basic crown royal decopauge. Is mod podge the same? I'm so confused... blah.
Thanks in advance.

Ever since I got that clay set on...whatever day it was last week, I have been trying to come up with bead ideas. My boyfriend was over last night and he started to play with a bit of my scrap clay and he made a cute little snake. I then got the idea in my head that I could make a snake that looks like it is all coiled up around a head pin and wear it as a fun little pendent. This is what I came up with:

It looks a lot darker, but the flash on the camera made it a bit brighter. Now my only problem is that I am afraid to wear it because I don't want to break off the tounge. But I have dropped it like three or four times since it came out of the oven, and it hasn't broken yet... ::knock on wood::
