I received two star loaf molds by mistake from the dealer.
Just wondering if anyone wants it. $5 dollars or maybe just a trade?

Lip Solutions™

Do you want to make lip balms for gifts, but don't want to try to
measure all of the ingredients? Try one of our Lip Solutions™. These
are premeasured and mixed. All you need to do is to melt and pour into
lip balm tubes, lip balm jars or lip balm tins. Each solution will fill
approximately 50 tubes, or 25 jars or tins. Order tubes, jars or tins
separately.

Helpful Hint: Transfer pipettes (droppers) will make filling the tubes
much easier.

Ingredients: each formulation contains the special oil in the name as well
as the following Almond Oil, Beeswax, Cocoa Butter, Coconut Oil,
and Olive Oil.

(...they come in lanolin, shea butter, or mango...guess how much ?? ONLY $ 8 and they make 50 tubes or 25 jars!!!!)

ALSO FOUND... THIS site has bottles and lip blam jars, etc. cheap---ANY QUANTITY--no minimum. The shipping and handling probably makes up for it a lil but as far as what ive seen on the web, this is pretty darn cheap--give it a look at least :

Hi all,

I'm wondering if any of you are into making pocket shrines? I have drooled over the shrines on the art ezine website..the "altered altoids" tins and would love to do one of my own.

Any ideas, pics etc are greatly appreciated. I have the need to create for no one but myself :)

oh wise craftgrrls....

i'm thinking of buying a cheap journal and pasting cool quotes/pics/whatever in it as a gift for a friend. my question is, what do you think would be the best was to stick them? i was thinking i'd print them out on the 'puter in neat fonts....but was thinking that a glue stick may not be the best choice.

any wisdom for me?
thanks in advance!

p.s. thanks to all who responded on my altered books question--i'm starting a small one from a board book that my son had lying around, just to start simple.

i just joined, so hello!  i've been collecting aol tins for a while now and could never decide what to do with them since they are so shallow nothing seemed to be a good idea.  well i finally thought of something and i am going to get going on it for xmas presents.  i am going to spray paint the tins with chalk board paint.  and then i am going to print out some words, photos, and game pieces on magnetic paper.  so basically what we'll have is a chalk board with some magnetic poetry, and game pieces included as well as some chalk i'll put inside.  i'll probably put some magnets on the back as well in case they want to hang them on the fridge. viola!  travel game board/chalk board.  fairly fun and almost useful.

anyone else have any ideas for the aol tins?

not so much crafty, but..

this year is the first year i have to do stocking stuffers. i'm planning on putting a mittens/scarf set, a bottle of cologne and a cd in their stocking.

what are some other good [cheap] fillers? crafty or store-bought alike?

Greetings

I thought I should introduce myself. ;o) I just joined yesterday, right after I discovered this community. You all have some amazing crafting ideas...you're inspiring me to go home and make stuff to give to people. A prime example is [livejournal.com profile] personaljourney's baskets. They are amazing! Hope ya don't mind, but I'm going to use some of your ideas for Christmas gifts. ;o)

Anyway...hello to all!

Does anyone know how to make arm bands like the long kind not the wrist kind? Or the wrist kind too, I guess. I've seen them at Hot Topic but if I go in there I won't escape without spending all my money. ;P

I found this lamp in a thrift store for four bucks, without a lampshade, so I made this one to go with it.

ah the simpsons..

but i really do have a pants related question..

has anyone ever bought a pair of pants too long and instead of hemmed them, just cut and frayed the ends?
how do you do this?

i bought this pair of brown courduroys and theyre WAY too long but were the only ones in my size. i'd hem them but i think they would end up looking like old man pants...so fraying them is my next best option. plus, the waistline is frayed...not like im showing that off or anything, but still.

so any suggestions would be bomb.
thanks gals ;)

[its been sitting in my fridge for that long.] i dont have a large format camera, so its pretty obvious im not going to use it for its original purpose. anyway, i want to make something with it, maybe something christmasy[?]

anyone have any ideas on how i could use it?
