Allo, sorry for this seemingly spammish post, but I'm trying to trace that link which was given for making panties from old t-shirts.
I've gone back through the posts and it still eludes me, bah, I'm an eedjet.

I saw this awesome necklance on ebay and I was wondering if there is anyway to remake this? Anywhere that I can get the little silver box and place my own items in it or can anyone get me one? I'm quite at lost at where i should go to find it. [The pendant is about 1 inch]. I'm not rich enough to pay $18 for it excluding shipping.

I got this thing called a ShapeBoss for Christmas and I finally got a chance to try it out today. It is so cool! Its an easy way to emboss just about anything... and you don't even need a light box.

Check out the card! )

I need advice from all you sewing divas. I'm looking into buying a sewing machine and I've never had one before so I'm not sure what I should be looking for. I don't think I'll be using it for anything more abitious than hemming things and making skirts and purses.
So, the cheapest one I found in the Sears catalogue was $219.99 and this is what the blurb about it says:
"Kenmore Sewing Machine with 8 built-in stitches and 26 stitch functions. Push-pull clutch system; vertical bobbin system. 4-step built in buttonholer. Twin-needle capability. Screw-type foot-fixing system. Lever-type drop-feed dog capability. Electronic foot control. Thread cutter. 5 mm stitch width and 4 mm stitch length."

Is this good?
It's all Greek to me.

I just have to come in here and gloat about all the awesome stuff I got at Michael's earlier today. This is the first ever Michael's I went to and it was closing...I was sad.
But anyways everything was 70% off. I got $120 dollars worth of stuff for $35 dollars. It was awesome.
The store is in Raleigh, NC, but I am not sure where it is because I am still not familar with the area.
I got chunks of FIMO pain for .60 cents instead of the normal 1.99 to 2.29. I got a ton of beads...I got those beads that are the glass ones with bumps on them...so cute...for only like 1.20 and there was 20 of them.
My best find though was a ten pound tub of clear glycerin soap for only $10 BUCKS!!! I thought that was so awesome because I went to Wal-Mart afterwards and they were selling 2 pound bricks of it for 8 bucks.
Today was a good day i'll say.
