I'm very much into designing graphics & such, and I was wondering if anyone has done t-shirt transfers before? isn't there a type of paper you can buy & print a picture onto, then iron it to a shirt?

I'm assuming it's that easy, but I'd like a bit of advice.
thanks!

I found this cute idea for Bunny cards on bhg.com yesterday and just HAD to try them out (even if Easter is 2 months away). I made a few changes but I think they turned out pretty nice.

Check them out! )

if you've ever wanted to make something out of the AOL CDs after you've used the tin or wanted to craft something from dead burned CDs...here's your answer!

i saw this on the laundromatic board and though i'd make myself one.

My dad is currently restoring a GTO, so he's constantly getting car parts in the mail. A couple of weeks ago, he received some in a huge tube. I stole the packaging because I thought it was a waste to throw it away. But now my mother is beginning to get antsy about it being in the house and I can't for the life of me think of what to do with it.

It's about as tall as me (approx. 5'2") and hollow. The cardboard is approx. .25" thick and the diameter of the tube is 4.5" -- 4.75". Both ends have white plastic caps (like the ones on smaller mail tubes). Any idea what I could use this for? It seems a pity just to throw it away.

Well hello, I just found this community and I've been reading pages and pages marveling at all the cool stuff people here have been making. ;)

Um, well, I'm a chick from Finland, and I like to get involved in weird little 'projects', and doing crafts and some sewing.

At the moment I'm x-sticthing five cute baby block things for my godson for his 1st birthday. ^_~
I got the pattern and the pic from a Finnish craft magazine, and thought it was really cute.

more stuff I've made: here. )
