Help with recreating Sandals
May. 16th, 2004 01:11 amSo, I saw these sandals and I absolutely fell in love. I haven't actually tried them on (although I probably will in a few weeks when I go down to Charleston) but I have really wide feet, and in general, shoes don't fit me. (Which is a pain, a major major pain.)
So anyway, I was thinking about recreating them myself, except that any flip-flop shoe I'd find that would fit me would be gross and plasticky. And even if I did find a nice leather or cordoroy shoe, I've never worked with leather before, so I'd have no idea how to do the dove and olive branch.
Anyone have any good ideas?
Thanks :)
(I feel lame because I don't have a digital camera, so none of my crafts ever get posted, but I love this community, it gives me so much inspiration!)
