Here's the tutorial. All measurements are approximate, because I didn't measure a dang thing when I made it.

I got this button maker from Hong Kong in the mail today from a friend. It works perfectly with the parts that come with it, but I was wondering, do badgeaminit supplies work in this maker? Does anyone have experience with it? I really need to know because getting more supplies would be an issue for me, as I live in the states. Thank you!!

Hallo! ^^

I finally completed my Poring doll ^^
It came out MUCH larger than expected XD
A Poring is a pink monster from Ragnarok Online, which I'm addicted to ^^
Also the directions are here in case anyone would like to try to make one too ^^
(But not for the added on drop on top of it's head. But that's easy to make ^^)

ATTN craftgrrls!

I sure hope its ok for me to post this here, if not feel free to delete. =)

So, heres the deal. The girls and I would are doing a senior project for a scholars program we have at my highschool. We would like to raise money to fix up our really sad school forum.(stage/auditorium) Our problem is it costs SO MUCH MONEY. 110 new chairs would come up around $345,000 and a new curtain $2,700. We know hoping to raise that much is shooting high...way high, but were looking to make anything. We can only go up from here! Sooo..I would like to know...

...what are some really-good-not-too-complicated things to make and sell?

or anyother suggestions?

thanks in advance. =)

okay so my boyfriend's best friend (my friend too, but my boyfriend and him have this "pact" where they don't buy things for each other.) is leaving to move up to NYC to go to school for his acting. and i wanted to make a sort of "NYC survival kit" but i need some ideas as to what to put in it.

maybe some things having to deal with rude people in the big city (we're from a small town in west virginia so it's a big change), things dealing with his acting, going away to school gifts in general, or funny stuff like condoms or something, cause he'll get all the girls :). i just need some ideas/inspiration.

some background info: he's going to a college for his acting for two years in new york city... he's the funniest person i know, really carefree and random. he will be walking pretty much everywhere he goes when he's up there.

ANYTHING would be a huge help .. thanks :)

Here's an apron I recently finished:

More! )

I saw the Free Martha slogan from a plain-ish t-shirt I saw online, and thought I could spice it up a little with my own design. I cross-stitched the letters using a tear-away aida cloth (it was SO satisfying tearing out the cloth and finally seeing the finished letters on the black fabric). Martha herself is appliquéd (my first appliqué project!), which was easy-peasy. And her prisoner numbers are cut out of a black iron-on patch, to give them a sharp, official look. I think she turned out alright... I like how one of her googly eyes is lower than the other. :)
