Hi guys! I've been lurking for a while and I thought I'd share some stuff. I started making wire and bead jewelry about a year and half ago when I saw a necklace I liked and decided to try and make it instead of buy it. It got sort of out of control after a while and at friend's suggestion I started selling them (because so many were hanging around my house unworn), which has been pretty cool. So here's a few I made, sorry the pic quality isn't better.

at least, i can't find it...

there was this really cool pencil pouch made of zippers...i've scoured the faq, but there are so many posts there & i couldn't figure out where it would be that it's highly likely that i missed it if it has been memoried.

could anyone find me the tutorial for the all-zipper pouch? pretty please? even just a link?! i'll keep searching myself, but i figure it couldn't hurt to ask.

thanks!

This weekend I am going to make resin pendants. What would be the coolest thing to have in a pendant?

I'm going to try and coat flowers in resin to see if I can get a result that looks as gorgeous as [livejournal.com profile] mommybabou's resin covered orchids.

What else could I set in a pendant?

so I was talking to a friend about making record bowls that she loves to make.  I know how to do that.  She mentioned making a bowl out of army men.  She couldn't remember how but she said she found the info here.  Went through the memories... no army men that I could find.  Does anyone know how to make a bowl out of army men?  Please help? *= )

I hope everyone doesn't mind the fact that I make a post after every thing I make, but I love the feedback I get and who else is there to show my bags to?

A skirt, made out of random silk scraps, and two 18x22 rectangles bought for $ .69 each. Woot.

I want to make my boyfriend something from candy... I saw the Hershey's Kisses Roses idea, but those don't suit my fancy :/

Anything else I could make, either from store bought, or simple recipies? (I'm not a great cook)

I did look in Craftygifts, but I didn't see anything.

my brother just moved into a room with a door that has glass panes. to cover them, i told him to cut up a poster and attatch them facing out, so you see the pieces from the outside. we plan to glue them on the inside though, somehow. but im not sure what kind of glue/tape/adhesive to use. it needs to stick the paper to glass, but still be really clear so it wont show from the outside. anyone know a good way to do this?

I'm one of those "long time lurker, first time poster" people.

Hi grrls,

I'll cut to the chase. I'm getting married on October 9th and have not yet made my invitations. Hey, I've been busy! Anyway, I have some ideas but am having a hard time getting started, so I thought that if I shared my ideas with this group, you might be able to help me expand them into something that will work.

Ok girls and boys! My friends and I made a bunch of CD Coasters today.. well, started to. We had a problem with the attachment of the felt to the bottom of the cds. Does anyone have any ideas on this? We tried mod podge, of course, that didn't work, and we tried Goop.. All I can think of is hot glue, which will probably soak through the felt and mess it all up. Any suggestions?? I took pictures of the awesome coasters but the camera's battery is dead and charging as we speak, so for now, I will bribe you all for answers. Give me suggestions and I will give you pictures of the finished product! Okay, maybe I inhaled a bit too much glue.. ahhh <33
