ps...they are kinda big cuz i'm a bit photoeditting illiterate..sorry!

Sorry for some of the blurryness...my scanner didn't like the clearish rounds one....i tried to take pictures on me digital , but they were all blurry no matter what i did.

can anyone direct me to a good how-to/tutorial website of how to re-upholster old furniture or have knowledge in this area and could help me out with some direction.

i looked through the faq and i googled this, but all i found were business websites offering upholstering services and i'm looking to do this myself.

any insight would be much appreciated!

thanks.

Hope you all aren't sick of looking at Halloween costumes yet! These are my kiddies, my dauther the Gryffindor and my son, the Ravenclaw Quidditch player. We were the only ones in Harry Potter garb in our neighborhood..I was kind of suprised. Anyways, enjoy!

Does anybody have any ideas for making belt buckles? I mean, besides the Nintendo controller belt buckles. I was going to try to make a few for some friends and stuff. Thanks!

This weekend I played with paper napkins on glass/porcelain for the first time, and created a windlight candleholder for christmas as well as two personalized coffeecups for friends. I had no idea how much fun this would be, and was rather pleased with the results!

what's halloween without vinyl? wish i'd posted earlier, cuz i know you're all getting sick of it, but here's my Space Girl halloween costume.

handsewn (ouch, the calluses, the pain!!) silver vinyl. modified a pattern for the top, winged the bottom using a similar skirt for reference. velcro and elastic garter for the 'raygun'. i bought only the watergun and antennae, at walgreens for $3. :)

some earrings and bits i have made! done to use up a few spare beads and earring hook things leftover from making people presents. i dont have my ears pierced anymore so will probably hoard these away as emergency gifts. i made them all little cards so they look smart (as the actual earrings are a bit boring i think)
the photos came out a bit.. wierd. they look better in real i tell you!
