I have a new clothing company and am looking for people who know how to sew very well and have great style and imagination. Basically, we would screen print the clothes then you would alter it to make it unique. If this is something you think you would be interested in... please email me at KrystinKaos@gmail.com and if possible link me to some of the stuff you have done or tell me about your ideas, etc.

Thanks!

My bf was away for a few days a week or two ago, and since I'm a loner at heart, when he's not there to coax me into being soical and going out among the normal types, I tend to stay home and craft all day (and to distract myself from the fact that I miss him, but shhh... haha). Here's a few things that I stopped crafting long enough to get pics of during the resulting craft spree.

I need you guys to help me out. I'm trying to find good bead stores that accept paypal. I use artbeads for more fancy beads but I need somewhere to go for pony beads and fimo beads. Any help will be appreciated.

so it took me forever to make myself a pattern. then re-learn hand embroidery enough to embroider this all. it looks alright in these pictures but its far from perfect. im just happy that i now have an idea as to how to make one. its a bit larger than a normal wallet too. :S & please do excuse the horrible colouring of the photos. the wallet is black with navy and beige plaid. It's dimensions are 5" by 7". I made this wallet for my friend rob, who is a drummer.

I have found the wonderful world of embroidery! I decided to make this skirt more interesting ( i got it for 6 bucks at H&M), i think the embroidery makes it look like a kids skirt, but at the same time i think it will look super cute with my uggs and an over-sized sweater for the fall :<)

Dialup beware, I have thirteen pictures to upload today. :P All my crafts from the past however-long since I got moved to a different computer. I'm missing a few because they were made for people (a Fall Out Boy purse for my sister, an earring for my friend Robin) or because I forgot I made them, but here's the bulk.

Marble Tacks )

Two old t-shirts = one new purse )

Emo Cellphone Cozy )

MLP Wrap Skirt )

And then I was set free in the Joann Superstore one day... )

And finally...
And somewhere in the darkness... )

^____^ I promise my next post won't be so gigantic. This is... a month or so of work. Eesh, has it been that long?

So tell me what you think, maybe? Did I break any computers? :B

My fiance and I bought these GORGEOUS bamboo plates at the local grocery store. We brought them home and realized that they're unfinished and disposable.

Considering the price of these plates, I was kind of disturbed. (Serves us right for not reading the package!) Does anyone know of some kind of lacquer or varnish or something that's good to make these plates something we can use and re-use? Obviously, it would have to be something non-toxic, or something where we couuld use several coats of something like shellac, then a finish coat of this stuff.

Ideas? Anyone? These are really pretty plates and I'd hate to use them once and toss them.

You know, I'm making one of these kanzashi flower pins, and boy howdy. o_O This is a WAY easier project than I expected it to be.

If any of you have wanted to try making these, but have been hesitant, please try it. It's a lot easier than it looks/sounds.

I'm using the tutorial from craftster.org

P.S. If you need to take a pause in the middle of it, I've found that a chip-clip clipped around the "inside" edges of the flowers holds it together perfectly while you get a snack, go to the bathroom, walk the dog, take over the world, etc.

I finished this little blond doll today. Her body is cotton calico and wool felt and she is wearing a vintage green flower button in her hair and a dress made from a vintage tea towel. I hope you like her! Come see what else I'm up to here http://www.whileshenaps.typepad.com

so i am almost finished with my first embroidered pillowcase, but now i am worried i should have washed the case before sewing on it. or maybe even washed the embroidery thread. but i was too excited to get started.

is my all my hard work going to fall about if i wash my pillowcase? should i hand wash first? is the thread going to bleed onto the white fabric??

Help!

Anyone know where I can find bra/lingerie patterns? It's kind of hard to find smaller lingerie that's still gorgeous.

I looked through ALL the books at my JoAnn's and found nothing- outside of corsets in the costume sections...but that's not really what I'm looking for >_

My aunt in Dallas gave me a bunch of these cool rice bags to use in crafting. I attached some iron-on interfacing to the back and used it to cover the book.

I finally made it! My scrap-yarn scarf!

I'm quite pleased with the result. I'm selling this one, but I might just make one for myself! :)

I finally went to the new bead shop in my town after months of saying that I would go. It's probably better that I waited so long, because now I'm hooked and will be spending way too much.

I finally found some fruit beads. I've been looking everywhere with no luck. So I made this:

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

There's a carrot (I know it's not a fruit, but I got one of each bead like that), bananas, cherries, grapes, a strawberry and a pineapple. I also used a heart and arrow toggle for a closure.

another of fruit necklace, cube necklace, and a purse! )

I had a Star Trek movie marathon a few weeks ago and I made geeky cookies for it. I made the cutter and stuff so I figured it was crafty enough to post here.

i'm pretty happy with the result and i can't wait to experiment some more. also, here's a site about blender-pen transfers, with a bunch of other stuff that you can do with them:

I really need something to put my jewelry in. I was thinking a shoe box, but I think everything would get all tangled up. Then I thought of a bead box, but the little dividers aren't big enough to fit some of my big earrings or stiff necklaces. I made sure and emptied out one my sister had..Haha, then I had to put everything back in! I don't really want something that stands upright...Does that make sense? What I mean is I don't really want something like these:

http://www.izazu.com/z/zazu/default.asp?S=AC3&Document=Stacks+Earring+Holders

I want something shoe box sized to where I could put a collage/decoupage type things on it with Mod Podge. But how could I make dividers? Anyone have ideas? All and any advice is GREATLY appreciated! Thnx so much!
