Project: Camera Release is a project where a camera is sent around to six different people, they all snap photos, and the photos are displayed. It's a cross over between mail art and photography.
I created the zine to be able to document what was happening, plus I thought it'd be a lot of fun! It's my first zine, and I think I did pretty well.
The zine is 31 pages, black and white photocopy, measures 8x7". Handcarved stamps to decorate the front, the covers are made out of cardstock and all handbound by coptic stitch. As well as having all the photographs taking by the photographers in the project, there are little bios of the photographers, and each person was invited to include an additional submission, which could be anything (another photo, a story, etc.), and four people submitted additional things.
Here are some photos under the cut.
