So I bought the this cute halloween pj set at old navy last year because I loved the fabric so much. It took me a year, but I finally made something out of it.

I looked in the memories and I could not find any tutorials on how to make the tiny clay food. Does anyone have any good links relating to this?

ACEO

This is a one of a kind ORIGINAL ACEO (Art Cards Editions and Originals). The card is 2.5" x 3.5" in size. The piece is watercolor with ink accents. I actually painted it about three years ago, and recently trimmed it to fit ACEO size requirements.

I am extremely creative, almost manic, really. I go through these phases where I feel full of love, and life, and creativity and in an instant it all melts and there is only emptiness and hunger. This is another form of self-narrative, self-portraiture, and self-construction.

Hi!
I'm currently in the process of working on my Halloween Costume, and I'm getting caught up on some pieces to the ensemble that I don't know..

Does anyone know what a SOUTACH BRAID is?
what it looks like or where I could get one at. I searched ebay and google.
and I found people talking about it but not what it is or where I could get it.

Also I'm looking for some Cording [ Rattail, Middy Braid] that looks like this

but I need Pink. I want it to be silky and of a nice thickness, as it's for a corset.
I did not find any online, just hoping to be pointed in the right direction.

If I wanted to paint on a suitcase or a purse, what kind of paint would I need that wouldn't come off?

here is an example of what i'm wanting to do..

look what i made today:

this needle felted banana split is made from
100% Corriedale wool and stands 2" tall and 2" long.
you'll notice that there are three different flavours
of ice cream--chocolate, vanilla and strawberry--and
that each is topped with a different topping--strawberry,
butterscotch and cherry. each scoop of ice cream is
finished off with a generous helping of whipped cream
topped with a teeny tiny cherry! more info is available
in my journal...yummy!

I know this isn't a selling journal but I'm in a bind trying to find fabric for a college project and was wondering if anyone here could help me source fabric.

I'm doing a design project this term and will be making some of the garments next term, they will most likely never be sold as will fit the college dummies not a real person. I'm doing my project on Japanese alternitive fashion so am looking at EGL and Japanese punk as my main insperation. I like alot of the tartan punk stuff but would rather use bright pink plaid that looks like a true tartan but the wrong colour (being Scottish I'd like to have tartan involved in a tounge in cheek way).

I've seen a few bright pink tartan punker items for sale but I need to buy the fabric and so far the closest I've came is a fleece with a Scotty dog border from a site that won't ship to the UK. I'm basically looking for a cotton or poly-cotton of a weight that would be suitable for trousers bright pink and black, will need 5 meters or more I think, I wanto to make some stuff for myself as well as the project.

Please either post here or you can e-mail me on pierced_girl_23@yahoo.co.uk if you know of anywhere that might be able to help,

Thank you in advance

Karen

Forgive me if this has been asked a million times, but I checked the memories and couldnt find the answer. I'm really interested in making atc's. I was just wondering what the dimensions were, and if anyone has any tips!?

Thanks a bunch!

ACEO

ACEO (Art Cards Editions and Originals). Self-photography, various water-destruction processes, and acrylic paint. Portions of the card have a heavy gel gloss texture while others have a dry, matte finish.

Well, Hallowe'en is coming ever so quickly so this weekend I thought I'd get a jump on my costumes. So I spent most of Sunday day making a cast of my face (in my super easy and non messy way, to be explained later), paper mache-ing and generally mask making. And here's the fruits of my labours:

I always seem to leave the Wal Mart with things that weren't on my list. Today it was a plain $2 canvas tote bag and some Crayola fabric markers.

I think it looks kinda cheesy... what do you guys think? )
