This is the finished version of my loteria table in our living room. My downstairs neighbors were just throwing it out! It's a perfectly wonderful table, it just needed some love.

The idea came from another table featured in La Casa Loca.

Hi,

I was flipping thru crafting books and saw this technique called Lace' Templates, that looks neat. I tried googling it, and a bunch of sites that sells the templates came up, but I'm looking for more info on it, or how to do it. Does anybody know anything about it?

Many thanks!

I'm so glad to finally see sunshine again!

I got a lot of things done over the last week (since I couldn't really go anywhere due to flooding), including a batch of hairsticks.

I'm hoping I'll be able to post more - things have been so crazy at work that by the time I get home, I really don't want to be looking at a computer...and that's sad. And I love reading craftgrrl and seeing everyone's creations!

Baby Blue Dog clothes
I just completed this medium size doggie outfit.
The main fabric is a baby blue cotton fabric. The collar is made out of white cotton fabric with vintage blue flowers (hand sewn) for decoration.
I still didn’t finish it … since it still need buttons for closer. The only thing I don’t know where I should use white or baby blue buttons … any suggestions?

I'm starting a line of doggie clothes, so this might be the first of many posts. All I need now are some doggie models. :)

just a quick snap and i urgently need feedback for the smaller baby whale ASAP! any comments will be greatly appreciated! thanks in advance! ♥♥♥

thanks to parasitegirl for highlighting to me that i didn't state what feedback i wanted:
1) do you think it's any less cute than the bigger version?
2) would you prefer it as a plushie or better if i attached a keychain or something to it?

This last weekend I made some artists trading cards (my first) and has alot of fun doing them. I had done watercolor paintings on the paper a few days earlier and then just satwith some pens and had fun playing with designs. Lots of pics under the cut but they are very small

When I found this fabric on sale, I immediately thought of this

because I'm a huge Little Mermaid fan. So I had to make a hot little dress similar to it. I found a decent pattern and set to sewing...

How do you knit a circle? Is there any way to do so without knitting little pie shapes and sticking them together?

Hello,

I've been trying to think of a nifty way to display the concert tickets that I've collected over the past few months. I'd like to create something that can be added to, as well as something that will not ruin the tickets. I'd rather not frame/glue them. If anyone has any suggestions, it will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Everyone
Has anyone used a Kandi Kane wand? They look really good fun, but I'd like to know that it would actually work before buying one. Also, do you have any advice on using it?
Thanks in advance
Nicola
