hi girls this material has been sitting in my room for about 2 months and now i want to use it. i would loveee a dress out of it but seeing as it measures 93cm x 130 cm that could be a little hard. do you think i could do it?
I have some other idea's I want to work on with painting them. First I need to find out what to use for build up to make the bumpy parts. Do you guys know of anything I can sculpt and attach/glue to wood?
I've gotten really into the swap scene and lots of people request crocheted Mary Jane slippers so I've been getting the hang of them to trade in swaps. They always turn out great! ( See pictures. )
Last week I rec'vd notification that the jury accepted me to be a craft vendor for the Arlington County Fair. Which is a huge deal for me as it's a HUGE-ASS fair that last year had approx. 40,000 people visit the grounds and exhibits. When Mike came in with the letter, it was like getting letters from colleges or something. He assured me that the thick envelope was a good sign. He was right!
So now, um, I got to make stuff. LOTS of stuff.
I'm set at trickle right now apparently, as I've only gotten like 4 things done in the last 5 days.
And of course I made a new bag for myself. Yeah, I'm nutso.
Ok crafty people, I have one question and some showing off to do. First, I was wondering if you guys know of any cool places to get interesting or different art/posters online or specific artists that you enjoy. I'm looking to decorate my blank walls and I'm tired of the same old stuff that you find on art.com or allposters.com. Alright, now that is over with, let's get on to my crafts!
I'm going to Europe in a week for 21 days, and I want to make something to hold my shampoo, conditioner, soap, makeup, ext. I was thinking of something that could roll up or condense for easy packing, but then could open up for maximum storing. Maybe this is a little too much, but maybe something like those organizers that unfold and hang up on the door (if you know what I'm talking about).
ughhhhh you must be sick of me... sorryy but im back *blushes* im in a bit of a pickle. i have no clue what i can make for winter. im used to making simple dresses (thats about it really ahha) but what do you girls make in winter time? i have this strange thing with paterns i just really dotn like them. so what have you girls made or are thinking to make to keep you warm and toasty. ofcause i thought of a coat..that would need a pattern.. has anyone made one without?
