OMG Why is this fish smiling?! Because it is fresh made... )

Anyway, I hope my secret buddy really enjoys her bag! I'm totally making one for myself now...

Hey y'all! I have a quick question about interfacing in sewing...specifically, I've only used it in projects like tote bags and things you don't need to worry about washing really. But I'm planning on doing some place mats and table runners in the near future, and you want to be able to wash those of course! Can you put objects with interfacing in them through the washing machine and dryer?
Anyone?
Anyone?

Bueller?

I don't usually paint (the entries I've posted to craftgrrl have been about my jewelry), and haven't since my senior thesis (usually I finish it digitally and print from my computer) - but I did a 3 canvas panel painting of a bonsai looking pine tree. Looks like a Chinese paper cut out.

I'm happy with it - now I need to find it a home:)

When I make toesockmonsters, I usually make an armless pair of creatures. This is the first time that I tried to use both socks for one creature, and I'm pretty darn happy with the result.

Here is my version of the ever so popular 'fetching' from knitty.com. I just finished it and decided to post now since I'll probably never get around to starting the other one. I have crafty A. D. D.

Hey ladies,

I'm looking for patterns for laptop sleeves and/or bags. I've been wanting to make a sleeve that zips on three sides so it lays flat when it's open but I can't find anything. Patterns for something like that or a messenger with a padded laptop compartment are all greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much :)
