My friend is having a Futurama party around Halloween, and I am going as Nibbler.
I have everything I need for my costume, except the antennae eyeball thingy. Any ideas on how to make it? I have a black headband I can attach it too. Also, any ideas for fangs? I don't really want to spend a lot of money on vampire teeth or anything. Thanks so much!

Ok, I need your help AGAIN!

For my Harley costume... I need a prop. I wanted to get a gun like she has.. but I can't find any and to get one made is CRAZY! I had thought of the bomb she carries, but I thought LAME! So, I think I am going to make a mallet like she has. It's larger than life and I don't know what I can use for the mallet part. I am fine with the handle, I just don't know what to do for the other part. I had thought about styrofoam, but I haven't seen it sold it that shape. Then I thought of buying the round discs and covering them in red shiny fabric. Which, may be my best bet.

But I wanted to stop in here and see what you guys thought. Also, do you guys know anyway I could make the gun, cuz that is what I REALLY want! BUT, it has to be able to shoot out the BANG flag. I know, I ask for too much! haha

Any help would be great!
Thanks!

Oh, and here is a picture of the gun and mallet! )

I lived in Spain as a military dependant from 1996-1999. When I left I swapped my favorite Rollins Band t-shirt for this plaid button up with one of my friends for remembrance. Is that a word? It was already worse for wear and I just found it again. So I paired it with a pair of my cords that have seen better days and made her a Christmas present!

This is one of my newest pieces, created with handcast paper, that is molded into a face, allowed to dry, then handpainted by me. This piece is named "Midnight Crow" and features a night scene of a winter tree with a crow and a full moon done in acrylics. The mask is 7 inches tall and 5.5 inches wide.

The eyes were painted seperatly and then inset into the back of the face and sealed with a layer of glossy gel to make the eyes look wet.

The face itself is then sealed in a satin varnish to protect it, Purple wire was used to attach ribbon for hanging. Face is signed and dated on the back and this is an orginal work of art.

You know when you buy something that comes in a little plastic bag and it has that cardboard flap stapled to the top, with the company's name and such on it? Does that make sense? What in the world do you call it?? I need to buy some but I can't figure out where to order them from when I don't know what in the world they are called.

Also, while I'm at it, does anyone know where you can order that adhesive that you use to stick things temporarily? God, I am awful at describing this. It's like this weird, clear stuff that is used all the time, and it doesn't damage anything it's stuck to. You can peel it off and play with it, if you are weird and so inclined (like me). I am really not explaining this well, but if anyone has any thoughts, I would really love to hear them.

Also, if you actually know what I am talking about AND know where to order either of these things, that would be AWESOME.

It seems everyone I know is either pregnant or just had a baby... just last week we welcomed Joseph Ryan to the world.

Due to the increase in population of my friends' wee ones, I am a crafting "auntie."

Here's my gift to little Joe--I thought he needed a kick butt wardrobe to step out in. (and for kicks- a bag I just finished)
