So I waited too long to order some boots I really wanted and they ran out of black :(

Here they are:

They only have them in natural now, is there anyway I would be able to get them black?

They look suede but are not since they are man made materials. No idea what sort of fabric they are.

I dont want to bother if theres a c

It's ages since I have posted anything :o gasp

I have here couple of metres of fabric that I screen printed for a class assignment. I am thinking of using it to make stuff to sell, so any criticism would be helpful. I've never sold anything before. I'm not sure how much to charge and if I spent all this time making stuff would people actually buy it?

i was just curious if any of you had made jewelry out of antique silverware before. A man was selling rings made of antique spoon handles on broadway today and I really wanted to buy one but he was selling them for $15 and i figured that I could more than likely make one myself and for cheaper. trouble is, I'm not sure of what the best way would be in going about removing the spoon/fork part from the handle and then bending the spoon to wrap around my fingers. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks! :)

Some of you will remember this blanket:

I wasn't sure if I should lay it vertically or horizontally once it was done. Popular vote was to lay it vertically, and I agreed.

awhile ago I asked, "can I paint over an old already painted on canvas". I think somebody even said, "duh!", man, I didn't know for sure.

anyway, she's done. )

I've been lurking for the past 2 months or so but haven't had the courage to post anything until now. So here it goes...

Some of you may remember my yo-yo sewn Christmas ornaments from last year. Today marks the start of this year's yo-yo sewn ornament batch! I started with a tree (the one pictured). :)
If you don't know what yo-yo sewing is...basically, it's a small circle of fabric that is sewn around the outside, then the thread is pulled to bunch the circle. Sometimes these "yo-yo" circles are used to make bigger items like quilts and pillows, but I've only used them to make ornaments.

When do you all start your Christmas crafting?

Cardstock

So... I was looking through the memories section and couldn't find anything about this...

I'm looking to purchase cardstock in LARGE sizes. Like, at least 14 x 20 inches per sheet. I have only found paper this size (a little bigger actually) at one website and they sold them in cases of 300 sheets. I'll need WAY less than that, so I don't want to dish out over $100 for paper I don't need.

Anyone know of any paper stores (preferably online - i'm sort of in the middle of nowhere) that sells cardstock this size?

THANK YOU!!!

I'm interesed in doing multilayer stenciling on shirts. I tried it once but failed misribly. I did it all with freezer paper..so do I need to use a spray adhesive? Or would that make globs on the shirt? Advice with someone with experience would be awesome. It seems like all the tutorials I find the pictures are missing and no one describes what they are doing. Poo.
Thanks in advance

hi everyone =)
i've been watching this community for quite a bit but haven't posted due to lack of time to take pictures/upload of recent stuff i've done.
but i'm in a bit of a bind and was hoping someone might help
awhile ago i ordered some yarn off the internet and the woman i ordered from sent the wrong type of yarn. what's worse is she didn't include a tag or label for the yarn she sent. she let me keep the yarn to make up for the mistake, but i'm using it now and running low and have NO IDEA what kind of yarn it is!
i was hoping it would look familiar to someone...or maybe they had something similar that would work and could let me know what it was.
and so this isn't just half finished projects, i'm including some prints i did to make learning anatomy fun for me. the prints are finished, the paper just needs to be ripped down to the proper size..
lots of pics.. )
thanks =)

New Stuff!

I mailed out five packages today and got the photo's taken of my custom jobs. I also got current on the new work so I could get it listed. Some of the new stuff I am trying was inspired by an Anne Geddes book. I'm not sure if it falls under the definition of a derivative work so I'm doing research before going much further.

The pictures are of one custom and my favorites.
