i'm thinking about making a reusable grocery tote bag by crocheting old plastic bags together. sort of like this:

(the picture is a link to the pattern, in case anyone is curious)

my bags are mostly all white and a light brown though (kinda dull). does anyone know if it would be possible for me to dye them? thanks!

Me and my son had loads of fun crafting up a blue and silver Christmas on the cheap (because we ain't gots no money!) Almost everything here we either already had on hand or bought from our local 99 cent stores (because we gots 3 of them within walking distance)

Firstly, we had to have a box (because I looooooove prettying up boxes)
Mirror box )

Secondly, we decopauged the plates, filled the glasses with water and stones and topped with candles (because we like candles)

And thirdly, we made a mini-Christmas tree scene (because we're crazy that way.)

Okay, so this Wednesday my colorguard class is having a small party because it's the last day of exams and we don't have an exam in that class. I was planning to make little felt dolls for everyone but I procrastinated and I don't know how I would be able to make 40 little dolls now. Any ideas on what I could make? I can pretty much get anything as long it's cheap.

And just so this isn't text only

I made a set of gift tags this year with silver snowflake designs ~

The snowflakes are from various images of pendants, ornaments, etc. that I found online. I printed them onto cardstock and hole punched the top, but you could also tape them on.

I thought that you grrls might like to use them as well. Free is a good thing!

You can get all of the images from here ~
http://www.phunkymonkeythreads.com/other/snowflake_tags/
Click on the link to see the image, right-click and save to your computer.

The tags print out to be 2 inches square (the images are larger so they will print well).
You can fit all 15 designs onto one page if you move the margins out.

I've made a lot of new things, but one in particular I thought you all would like to see... ANOTHER PANDA PURSE! The first one went over so well, and I promised to make another, so here it is. Sorry it took me so long. This one is quite different, but in my opinion even better! What do you all think???

Merry Giftmas, you're a douche.

I was trying to figure out if I could do something complicated with felt for an Xmas ornament. This actually wasn't as complicated as the Christmas Story Leg lamp I tried to do (I don't know if I'll be posting that fiasco. Maybe in the poor, neglected craft mishaps community.)

Pictures of productivity! (finally, right?)

First off, a shameless gank of the "Snowman Kit" concept, which seems to evolve every time someone takes it on. And in that respect, here is my variation! )

And some jewelry I've made in the past month.

Me and my friend have been working on a new community. It's called Project Design and was inspired by project Barbie (that didn't seem to go anywhere). It's a online contest, inspired by the hit series project runway and project catwalk, where people compete in different challenges and design outfits for dolls (barbie/blythe/pullip). After every challenge one designer will be eliminated. If you're interested in sewing/design/fashion, please join the community <3 We need new members to participate in the contest and voting :)

I made these Zelda coasters, based off of Mario ones I have seen, from perler beads. They are for my good friend [livejournal.com profile] ilovekorn. ZELDA )
