Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

These are cool little matchbook notebooks I've been making out of recycled manila envelopes and scrap paper.
Leslie posted some great directions on her Comfortable Shoes blog:

I'm starting uni monday and there'll be freshers week. We're supposed to come either with corn cobs or dressed up like the middle ages or both. I'm doing neither, (lack of time and supplies - all my crafting material is 3 countries over) but I did remember to bring my cloth paint, so I'm painting a corncob coat of arms on an old shirt. Hey, at least it shows I made an effort right? :)

My question:

Does anyone have a stencil or BW drawing of a corn cob lying around. I have drawn a couple, but I thought I'd wait to see if someone else had anything better. Even pointing me in direction of somewhere where there'd be something would be good.

I checked google, but no images that I could use came up.

I'd be very grateful, and either way, it doesn't hurt to ask. :)

hey sorry this is text only and it's not really that craft related but I need some help with photo hosting. I'm currently using photobucket but whenever I paste the link thing to show the picture when I go to preview my post all it shows is the link not the actual photo. Does anyone else have this problem or can anyone else suggest a good photohosting site? Please? I'd really like to share my pictures of what I've done with everyone.

I can't remember when I last posted here, but it's been a while. Here's what I've been up to in the last month, ish:

Recent pieces )

Hmm. And there's probably more to share, but right now I can't think of anything to add. I've been using more in the way of "things I've had hanging around for a while" lately, and hope to continue doing that as soon as I've acquired more silver wire. :) Mwahahahaha.

has anyone ever found a good pattern for the kind of hat asked about here:

true, it's about 95degrees today, but i know that cold weather is coming, and i want to be ready for it, instead of finally churning out a scarf of some sort on my crochet hooks in march... as i seem to do every year.

thanks for anything, ladies!

Hello :)

I am searching high and low for unfinished wooden bracelets (to be decorated). I found a few sources but this is where the problems arise. The one source was in a great location (NYC) but I got a sample and it just wasn't right. (the opening was sort of large and kept sliding down on my hand and the edges were flat) The other suppliers are overseas in China and Philippines which raises the cost quite a bit... and they want a minimum order of $500. (shipping is $250) I am looking for about an inch wide (maybe a bit more) and curved with curved edges. Like this:

Any ideas?

And so this isn't just text, here are a few rings I made recently. :)
